Welcome to the Lions Club of Huddersfield

We are people just like you! 

Men and women of all ages, wanting to get involved in helping others and having fun!

          We meet at Lindley Liberal Club, HD3 3EQ on the second Tuesday of every month at  7.30 p.m.  At the moment, we are meeting on zoom.

What do we do?

We plan events and fundraising activities, support people in need of help and work with local and international charities. We also meet socially for pub meals out, walks, bowling and for the last few summers, we have enjoyed a boat trip on the canal from Mirfield.

What fundraising are we planning at the moment? 

We are looking forward to 2024, when hopefully our annual events can start again.  In the meantime, we have recently helped a local food bank with donations of food for their weekly deliveries to families in need.

How can I get involved?

As well as the fundraising events, we run the coffee bar at the Huddersfield Magistrates’ Court, organise an annual Summer Concert, have a stall at Lindley Carnival, provide fireworks and supper for special needs children at a local school  and  are always looking for people to help us with any or all of these.
